Tampa Bay Rays vs Cleveland Guardians: Battle for AL Central Supremacy

The MLB slate is stacked with 15 games, featuring some tantalizing matchups and a few teams that are either riding high or struggling to find their footing.

First up, the Tampa Bay Rays head to Cleveland to take on the Guardians in what promises to be an intense battle between two American League contenders. The Rays have been on a tear lately, winning six of their last seven games, while the Guardians are coming off a series win against the White Sox. Keep an eye on Shane Bieber and Shawn Armstrong for Cleveland; they've been pitching like aces, and the Rays will need to be at their best to keep up.

Meanwhile, over in Chicago, the Angels and White Sox square off in a battle of division rivals. The White Sox have struggled as of late, losing four straight games, but they'll be looking to bounce back against an Angels team that's been inconsistent all season. Elsewhere, the Yankees travel to Texas to face the Rangers, who are riding high after taking two out of three from the Red Sox. The Yanks have been a bit shaky lately, losing three games in a row before beating the Blue Jays on Thursday. Can they find their groove against the surging Rangers? We'll see.
